Lady

"Meet Lady! As her Foster Mom I can tell you that this young girl is vivacious, energetic and full of love! She is 6-7 years old and still very much an active pup. Lady is housebroken and sleeps in her crate at night but roams the house and yard freely during the day. Lady’s most favorite time of the day is snuggle time and man does she snuggle! Lady gives new meaning to the phrase “Velcro Vizsla!” Lady will walk by your side, is leash trained and knows the command sit! She has a hard time being still for any other commands yet as she just wants to be right next to you! Lady will make a great companion to someone with one other dog, is older and has no small children, as she is an “Alpha” female, that feels she must herd and correct the young ones. Lady loves the birds and therefore would make an excellent hunting companion for someone that has the time to train her! If you have the love and time to give this adorable vibrant young Lady, then please think about becoming her new forever loving home!"

Lady is currently being fostered in the Fort Benning/Columbus area for the South Louisiana Vizsla Club. Go here to fill out an adoption application for Lady. For more information, contact Randy Russell, rescue coordinator for the SLVC.

Mazzy

"Mazzy showed up on our doorstep skin and bones! I put out water and some scraps and she just continued to stare at me with those golden eyes of hers so i coaxed her inside. She climbed up on the couch practically in my husbands lap and that is her favorite spot! She is very well mannered and very tender hearted. If you scold her she begs for your forgiveness with lots of kisses and nose nudges! she is crate trained but if you don't let her out when she goes to the door she may have an accident. she sleeps in her kennel but  also likes to climb up in the bed like a human with her head on the pillow and body under the covers. She does snore though... She is amazing with children and other animals. The only time she barks is if someone comes to the door that she doesn't recognize. She enjoys playing catch or just being curled up next to you!"

Mazzy is a mix and  not in our rescue program.  Any adoption will be directly with Mazzy's current caretaker.
